The Lake St. Charles Community Development District also has many recreational amenities where nature can be enjoyed in abundance.  The subdivision encircles a scenic 70-acrea lake.  Homes nestle in and around the lake, wetlands and ponds that are thick with pines and oaks.  You can walk or hike around an enjoyable 2-mile nature path that weaves around the lake and conservation areas, replete with tropical foliage and birds or use the 10 Parcours exercise stations along the way for a more complete workout.

Recreational amenities include 15 acres of park, including a sports complex, adjacent to the lake.  A Community Center is home to two swimming pools, including a lap pool, a spa and kiddie pool as well as a lighted sand volleyball court.  The swimming pool and clubhouse overlook beautiful Lake St. Charles, where spectacular sunsets can be enjoyed.  Other park facilities, connected by the nature path, include 2 children’s playgrounds (including a toddler playground), a doggie park ( with two fenced areas: one for large dogs and one for smaller dogs), a soccer/baseball field, 2 basketball courts, 3 lighted tennis courts, 2 fishing docks and rustic canoe launch.
